Myself and my partner decided to book this trip and were really looking forward to it. Our tour guide Rob was amazing. He met up with us in the CBD and was prompt and punctual. He was very welcoming and friendly. He took us around the city and was very informative about landmarks within the city. I didn't expect our tour guide to be so warm and down to earth and was really interesting to talk to. He was very knowledgeable, polite and really easy to talk to. Our first stop was at the Wildlife Centre and it was amazing to see all the local animals up close. With Robs experience with these animals he was very informative about the animals themselves, i definitely learned a thing or two there. It was a bit of a hot day and Rob had some water organised for us which was very thoughtful We made our way to the wine tasting and lunch. Lunch was amazing and Rob was amazing. The wine tasting as well was a great experience After a long day we mad e our way back to the city. Rob offered to drop me off to where my car was in Footscray and i really appreciated that after a long day of exploring. I just want to Thank Rob so much for the great experience. I would rate him a 10/10 and is definitely the best tour guide. He is definitely an asset to this company

Covid-19 has been a massive interruption for so many people and businesses, but Paul and Rob didn't miss a beat, and neither did the Healesville Sanctuary and the vineyards. Healesville Sanctuary had only just re-opened, and some exhibits were not available. The staff and volunteers were friendly and welcoming, happy to share their knowledge. The bird presentation was the highlight. Lunch at Yering Station was exquisite and the grounds and cellar door are just beautiful. The van is quite comfortable. Paul is a consummate guide and host, and I enjoyed it so much, I went on another tour the next day.

My husband grew up thinking a platypus was the world's most unique animal and he loves good food & wine so this trip was a perfect day trip from our week stay in Melbourne. Our morning visit to the Healesville Sanctuary exceeded our expectation to see Australian native animals since we had a free guided tour with some recent graduates from a local university who knew everything about the flora and fauna. The afternoon lunch and wine tasting, made the day completely superb. The Yarra Valley is not to be missed.

Excellent venue, especially the close encounter with a Koala. some exhibits closed which was unfortunate.

This was a great day trip and I highly recommend it for adults. From the time I booked, communication was excellent and our guide Rob was exceptional, a great conversationalist, knowledgeable and attentive. The entire day exceeded our expectations; transportation was a clean and well maintained minivan that was comfortable. The wildlife sanctuary was truly amazing, we had our personal guide, Sue sharing great information about the animals. Wine tasting we had our private area to enjoy the wines and the food was incredible, very fresh and delicious. A day that was enjoyed by all.

This tour was excellent. Rob was a great tour guide as were the volunteers that walked us through the sanctuary. Could have spent more hours at the wildlife sanctuary, 3 hours was not enough time to see everything. I need to go back. After the sanctuary moved to the Yering Station Winery for our first tasting flight that was most excellent (came home with 2 bottles of their Pinot Noir) followed by an amazing lunch over looking the valley. After lunch drove 15 mins to the DeBortoli Winery for a perfect wine and cheese pairing. Again, some great wine (came away with another bottle of Pinot Noir and Cabernet). Drove through the countryside enroute back to Melbourne, beautiful country, and got to see a mob of kangaroos. Was a perfect day! Picked up at the Marriott Lonsdale 0900 and dropped off shortly after 1800. Proud to say, all 4 bottles, survived the flight back to the US.

Shane was a knowledgeable and pleasant guide. He learned all our names and made an effort to engage everyone. The sanctuary was very good as well as the wines we tried.

Stephen, our guide, was an erudite host, and not only on the subject of wine. I noticed that he called each of us by name, which can be a challenge for some guides - nice, personal touch. Thoroughly enjoyed the time at the Healesville Sanctuary. Was impressed with the size and scope of the hospital operation there. My timing worked out well in that I was able to catch several animals around the sanctuary at meal or snack time. On to lunch and vineyards - the two vineyards we went to for tastings (we had lunch at one of them as well) were superb. Really well selected, particularly for those among us who opted for the sanctuary in the morning and missed the morning tastings. Overall a great day - highly recommend.
